The festival of Nordic players, which was held regularly in Ireland, is anchored in Slovak capital this year, when the Card Casino in Bratislava hosts poker players from all over the world. There are many events waiting for them, but the highlight of this week is definitely the NLH Poker North Masters, which with a €800 buy-in carries a €500,000 guarantee!
Not so long ago, such goals were a utopia or a dream in Slovakia, but as we can see these days, the ambitions are high and the organizers believe that, despite the astronomical height, the guarantee will be conquered. There are a total of six opening days to take care of it, while the first two are already behind us.
The gradual start of the entire event was mainly characterized by the Slovak representation, which during the entire flight 1A played main role in terms of the numbers. The eight initial levels produced a total of 73 entries, and from this group 18 advanced were formed by the end of the day and is led by hungarian player David Safrany. Among them, the Slovak flag shines 10 times, while the best home player is the third Michal Hudec, who is accompanied by names like Boris Progner, Jožko Cibíček and Dominique Palan.
