PokerGO Tour Last Chance Kicks Off, Nick Schulman First Champion

Article cover

The PokerGO Studio at the ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas is currently in its final series, where players are collecting valuable points for the 2024 PGT Leaderboard. The series is called the PokerGO Tour (PGT) Last Chance and features 6 NLH tournaments with a buy-in of $10,100.

The first tournament brought 111 entries and a prizepool worth $1,110,000. Of that amount, $283,050 awaited the winner, a trophy and points towards the final standings. Nick Schulman made it to the 7-seat final table as a massive chipleader, but he fell in the last 10 blinds while playing in a six-player field.

However, Nick was able to make it to the final heads-up where Joao Simao sat against him with a chiplead as high as 5-1. Even that didn't stop Schulman from defeating his opponent after two hours of heads-up play. Nick Schulman thus took home the aforementioned prize, which is his eighteenth ITM placement and second win of the 2024 season.
