Polish Poker Masters Mystery Bounty dominated by Romanian player Catalin Diac

Polish Poker Masters Mystery Bounty Edition, that was the name of the festival that ended yesterday at the poker room in Rozvadov. It brought a total guarantee of €500,000, of which the Main Event had a guarantee of €300,000 with a buy-in of €120+€45 bounty. A ticket to the WSOPE Main Event was also waiting for the heads-up participants.

The entries counter here reached 1,838 entries and a €23,400 bounty awaited the winner. Twenty-four players made it through to the final day, led by Romania's Catalin Diac with a stack of 16,720,000.

Catalin Diac also sat as chipleader at the final table, where he already held a huge stack worth 29,700,000. In second place was his compatriot Florin Bilan with a stack of 19,275,000. The table also featured a pair of home players Ales Rezac and Tomas Kral.

Just before the final heads-up, German player "Trapez" finished with €9,400. The chipleader was Florin Bilan with a 51 blind stack and Catalin Diac held a 33 blind stack.

Heads-up play lasted approximately 45 minutes, after which Catalin Diac was the eventual winner. The latter took home the full winner's prize, and both also received the aforementioned €10,350 WSOPE ME ticket. How much the players took from the bounty prizes is not disclosed by the casino.
