At the end of July, the Rozvadov poker room together with the Italian EuroRounders organization brought us the Euro Poker Million with a guarantee of up to €2 million for only a buy-in of €540+€50. A ticket to the WSOPE Main Event worth €10,350 is also waiting for 16 players.
Atournament full of records
The casino's first record was set during Saturday's 1G flighter, which brought in a whopping 1,485 entries, the largest number of entries for a single flight at this casino. Due to this onslaught of players, the tournament had to be played in a 10-max format and all tables in Europe's largest poker room were filled.
Another record was achieved by Kings in the number of nationalities. In fact, players from as many as 64 countries came to play this tournament. The third record is already a pan-European one and concerns the size of the prizepool. Thanks to 6,237 entries, the prizepool reached €3,199,581, which is the biggest prizepool ever for a European poker tournament with a buy-in under €1,000.
161 players made it to Day 3
All players were awarded €1,000 for advancing to Day 2, which was deposited into their casino account. More than 740 players advanced to Day 2, and of those, 161 players made it through to Day 3 on the night.
A €500,000 prize awaits the winner here and the top 9 players will also receive the aforementioned ticket to the WSOPE European Championship. Seven tickets have already been given out during the tournament.
The chipleader here is currently a German player nicknamed "Bornfree" with a stack of 10,155,000. All Day 3 entrants have already pocketed at least another €1,375 on top of the initial €1,000 prize.
EPM Day 3 will start at 14:00 on blinds of 25k/50k/50k and will run players through 80 minute levels. Of course, there will be no shortage of livestreams, which can be found on our website.
EPM High Roller
The two-day High Roller kicked off yesterday with a buy-in of €1,000+€100 and a €100,000 guarantee. However, the guaranteed amount was completely crushed as the prizepool is worth up to €483,550 thanks to 509 entries.
As many as 133 players made it to the final day, but only 55 of them will make it to the ITM. The minimum prize is worth €2,319 and the winner is looking at up to €91,800 along with a ticket to the WSOPE ME. The chipleader here is German player "Bronko" with a stack of 1,243,000.
The final day of the EPM High Roller will start at 15:00 on blinds of 5,000/10,000/10,000 and players will play 40-minute levels.
