Although the second edition of the unique PS Players Championship event did not break the record of the first edition, we can still safely say that we are witnessing the top class event in the Bahamas. An incredible atmosphere, an interesting composition of the field of players, millions of dollars in winnings, and on top of all that, a unique trophy with a title that is waiting for its owner.
Yesterday's third day of this story welcomed 255 players to the tables, whose task was primarily to fit among the 175 ITM positions. Not everyone could do that, but Mauricio Ferreira Pais took home the most unpleasant title of bubble-boy this time, who didn't turn his short with J 5 against Q 6 under the hand of Omar del Pino, thus securing $35,100 in mincash for each of the players.

Commiserations to Mauricio Pais, he was the unlucky 176th place finisher. The reamaining 175 players have locked up a min-cash of $35,100.

The story of Glen Craigen is worth mentioning. The Canadian road construction worker won his Platinum Pass in a freeroll and the media closely followed his journey through the tournament. Craigen managed to survive the bubble and eventually made it to 111th place in the tournament for a lifetime $46,500.
This moment was followed by 7 hours of play, during which many qualifiers, as well as many famous names of poker world, had to walk to the cash register for their reward. After the announcement of the last three hands of the evening and the last eliminations, the 52 survivors finally got the desired stack pack, currently leaded by the Bulgarian Petar Kalev, who you may remember from the final table of December's ME EPT Prague.
At this point, each player has a solid $70,700, which is a lifetime win for most of the 15 qualifiers who are still living the poker dream. But it will not easy at all, as names such as Dominik Nitsche (2,360,000), Daniel Dvoress (1,775,000), Sam Grafton (1,590,000), Jeremy Ausmus (1,470,000), Chris Moorman (1,460,000), Fedor Holz (970,000), Chance Kornuth (810,000) or Talal Shakerchi (630,000) are waiting for them at the tables today. Play will continue tonight at blinds of 20,000/40,000/40,000 and you can once again look forward to a live stream detailing the action.
