After the WSOP Circuit Events at the Kings Resort in Rosado, the series moved to California, specifically to Thunder Valley Casino & Resort, where it brought 16 ring tournaments.

Before we get into the WSOPC, we need to take a moment to go back to December 2024 and remember the name Scott Stewart, who became the new WPT World Championship champion, taking home $2,563,900 for his efforts.

And that is exactly the gentleman we will be talking about in this article today. Scott came to Thunder Valley to play in the WSOPC tournament. He was first tempted by the NLH 6-Max with a buy-in of $600, an entry count of 134 and a prizepool of $69,010, where Scott was crowned champion and won his seventh gold ring. He also added $16,980 to his winnings.

He then played the last tournament of the series a few days later, the $400 buy-in NLH - Series Finale, which brought 77 entries and a prizepool of $25,410. Scott dominated this tournament as well, earning $7,290 to take home his 8th WSOPC gold ring. The two tournaments together netted him $24,270.
