SOPC Main Event €250,000 GTD

The €250,000 SOPC Main Event, currently being contested at the Banco Casino in Bratislava, has seen two opening days of play. Players have paid their €185 buy-in a total of 138 times and only 12.5% of players have made it to Day 2 so far. 17 seats have already been given out, and more players will advance today.

Yesterday's Day 1B flight registered 67 entries, which meant advancement for eight players. In addition to the Day 2 "seeding", they are also assured of a mincash. Sebastian Kotowicz was the best performer of the eight advancers, surpassing the magic million chip mark.

There will be up to two opportunities to advance in the Main Event today. Flight Day 1C kicks off at 15:00 and the evening Flight Day 1D Turbo kicks off at 22:00. Will you be able to secure your place in Day 2 today?

SOPC Deepstack €10,000 GTD

In addition to the Main Event, the SOPC Deepstack €10,000 GTD was also on the schedule yesterday. This saw 83 entries for a buy-in of €100 + €15, which was not enough to fill the guarantee. The trophy was taken home by Norway's Patrick Johnsen, who also took home a €2,885 prize. Congratulations.

Slovak players were also in the money, with Sergej Lakatos doing the best, taking home "at least" €1,275 for his third place finish.
