SPT Liechtenstein: Arduini Highroller Winner, Main Event still short of guarantee

The sixth edition of the Spadepoker Tour is already underway, and these days it's taking place at the Grand Casino Liechtenstein. It brings here a five-event festival headlined by a CHF 500 Main Event guaranteeing CHF 200,000.


The Main Event awaits on the decisive day
 

The Main Event kicked off on Thursday with Flight 1A, which brought 61 entries, The aim of each of the flights is to play 12 levels, at the end of which all survivors will pack their stacks. In Flight 1A, the top 8 players achieved this feat:

Flight 1B on Friday already produced better numbers, with 61 players taking care of a total of 97 entries during the registration phase. Of these, the top 13 players wrapped up their stacks at the end of the day:

In total, the current Main Event has collected 158 entries, which in money terms means collecting a total of CHF 71,100. Before the crucial day, which will clearly be Saturday and its two flighters, there is a good chunk missing in the guarantee, which will require 287 entries to fill. The two opening days 1C (from 12:30) and 1D (from 17:30) will show whether this will be achieved.


Another trophy for Arduini
 

Many of you will recall that exactly one year ago, the fourth stop of our SPT took place at the Grand Casino Liechtenstein, where the Main Event managed to produce 452 entries. The best player here was the no-deal Italian Lorenzo Arduini, who took home CHF 57,080, a trophy and a ticket to the WPT Prime.

Almost exactly a year later, Lorenzo made his mark again, well, in the CHF 1,000 buy-in one-day High Roller. He produced 21 entries and thanks to them a prizepool worth CHF 18,900. Of these, Arduini took home the biggest share, namely CHF 9,450, and can now add the gold trophy for the Highroller champion to the blue trophy from the Main Event!
