Instead of being sad that the SSOP festival is about to finish, let's look ahead and know that there is no time for rest - the GREEK POKER CHAMPIONS event starts tomorrow, which will bring a Main Event with a guarantee of €150,000 and an entry fee of €175. The main tournament of the SSOP festival had a decisive day 2 on the program yesterday, in which all those advancing from the initial flights met. Late registration was open even during the first level of the day, but even that could not erase the financial shortfall. The definitive 935 entries were not enough for the guarantee, and Banco Casino paid forty thousand euros to the players.

This news delighted the best 94 players, who could look forward to financial rewards starting at €365 and ending at €55,170, which today's champion will take home. The second dayhad comfortable 45 minute blinds with a great structure that allowed players to show off their poker skills. More than twelve hours of fighting separated the lucky from the unlucky with the bursting of the bubble, which this time was unlucky for the local matador Andrej Desset.

After another six hours of play, the field was gradually shortened to the required final 16, who could carry the stack into the final day. In the end, David Špaček (€1,555) became the last eliminated in day 2, who thus formed the final 16 of international players.
