Steve O'Dwyer has another trophy

American player Steve O'Dwyer took home his last EPT trophy in 2022 during EPT Barcelona. Exactly two years later, he secured another trophy by taking home the €12,300 buy-in Cuatro Knockout.

This tournament has an interesting and unconventional format. With only 25 percent of the entries in play, each player is rewarded €12,000 for knocking out another player, and there are two bubble stages. The first is a bounty bubble and the second is a classic cash bubble.

In total, the tournament produced 62 entries and a prizepool of €729,120. There were 16 bounty prizes for the players and 8 players received placement prizes. After Santhosh Suvarna was eliminated in third place, play moved into the final heads-up where two Americans - Steve O'Dwyer and Byron Kaverman - sat against each other. Steve was the winner here, taking home €211,720 along with bounty prizes. Kaverman took home €119,400 for his second place finish.
