Streamer used RTA during broadcast, only received a two-week ban as punishment

Article cover

Brazilian Twitch streamer Felipe Carmanhani has been in the spotlight in recent days after using GTO Wizard while playing the Sunday Million. He opened it during a livestream and didn't care that the use of such tools is banned. It was probably his normal behavior during the game.

One of his viewers brought the problem to the attention of PS itself, which responded with an absurd solution. The Brazilian streamer was banned - for two weeks.

The whole problem was pointed out on Twitter (X) by Mark Rubbathan, himself a streamer who is followed by thousands of people. The PS Director of Online Poker Experience also responded to the situation, posting an apology saying that the infraction was worse than originally thought.

"In the future, we will conduct a review of our internal process to make sure this doesn't happen again. Viewing pre-flop charts and/or using RTAs is strictly prohibited and a strong crackdown is indeed warranted. We sincerely apologize for the initial review, which was inadequate for the infraction and did not meet our high standards."

Mark Rubbathan posted the information that GTO Wizard itself blocked the Brazilian's account after seeing what he did. Any cheating on the Twitch platform is a violation of the terms and conditions and leads to a ban. At the end of the whole affair, one of the observers noticed that the Brazilian was using token EV charts while playing the bounty tournament.

What do you think, is a two-week ban on PS enough punishment, or does it just motivate others to cheat more?
