Italian poker tournament organisation EuroRounders and Grand Casino Liechtenstein have teamed up once again to bring us an enticing tournament series. This time it was the Warriors series, with the Main Event guaranteeing CHF 200,000 for a buy-in of CHF 340+CHF 50.
The tournament brought only 564 entries and so the casino had to add to the guarantee out of its own pocket. A reward of CHF 34,225 awaited the winner, and the top 16 players battled it out for that amount in the final table.
The chipleader of the final day was a player with the nickname "Emilia", who also sat at the final table as chipleader. In the end, however, he couldn't hold on to his lead and finished in 6th place.
Swiss player Marco M. (17M) and local player Kathrin Wolfinger (4.5M) made it to the final heads-up. The heads-up lasted only 10 minutes, after which Marco M. was victorious, taking CHF 34,225 to his account. Kathrin finished in second place with a prize of CHF 21,160.
