An Italian tournament legend in the form of the Tana delle Tigri is coming to an end. These days, Bratislava's Banco Casino is focusing on crowning a €250,000 Main Event champion. Players have participated in the tournament a total of 964 times, one of which will hoist the trophy above his head. Who will take home the €35,000 prize? The livestream of the final day starts at approximately 20:30.

Yesterday's day of play brought as many as three opportunities to advance to Day 2. There, players managed to produce another 272 entries, from which 80 players went on to advance.

TdT: The last three flights of the €250,000 Main Event are about to get underway

A total of 234 players made it through to Day 2, with 9 levels to play, during which the tournament moved into the ITM phase. Before Day 2, it was clear that 98 players would not go out empty-handed, with at least €700 waiting for them. The bubble burst with the elimination of "Kayk" who sent the last 20,000 chips over the line. Zdenek Svoboda called him with K-Q and after a board on which Svoboda completed a straight, sent "Kayk" home empty-handed.

After two days of play, 40 players remain in contention for the title and will meet in today's final day. It kicks off at 4pm with level 26 on blinds of 15k/30k. Alessio Liscia will jump in as chipleader with a stack of 2,500,000 chips.

In addition to the final day, two side events of the Tana delle Tigri will be played today (Sunday, April 28). First, the TdT Masters will kick off at 15:00 with a buy-in of €450+€50 and a €25,000 guarantee, and the popular Mystery Bounty tournament at 17:00. The buy-in is set at €120 and the guarantee has a price tag of €15,000. The chance to win the proverbial plush tiger is still alive!
