Perhaps no Czech name has resonated in the poker world recently like Roman Hrabec. He has transformed himself from a professional hockey player into a top poker player who is enjoying success in both the live and online scene. But all indications are that 2024 will be Roman's year, as he's already won two SCOOP titles, a valuable Triton Main Event championship, and most recently, a WSOP bracelet!

Yes, just a few hours ago, Roman finished WSOP Online event #5, which was a $333 buy-in Triple Treys tournament. From the comfort of his bed, the Czech talent took down all of his opponents and can now rejoice in his first WSOP gold bracelet!


Roman's success was reported on IG by his friend Monika Zukowicz

The tournament brought in 2,714 entries, bringing the prizepool to $814,200. In the final heads-up Roman defeated the American player Derek Scott and in addition to the aforementioned bracelet he also took home a cash prize of $100,228! Congratulations!
