The PokerGO studio in Las Vegas will be hosting a series of Poker Masters over the next few days. The series runs from September 10 to September 19 and will feature a total of 8 tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $5,100 to $25,200.

Players also collect valuable leaderboard points for placing in the tournaments. The player with the most points at the end of the series will take home a purple jacket, a $25,000 PGT Passport and a $10,000 NAPT Gold Pass, which includes a $5,300 entry into the November NAPT Las Vegas Main Event with a $3,000,000 guarantee, $2,900 in lodging and $1,800 in spending money.

Yesterday, the first tournament of the series had its final day on the schedule with a $5,100 buy-in, 131 entries and a prizepool of $655,000. The winner was looking at $160,475 and 160 points. The top 6 players entered the final day and the chipleader here was German player Jessica Vierling.

Jessica gradually increased her stack and had a chance to win this tournament. She also went into the final heads-up with a stack as high as 10,900,000 against Spencer Champlin with a stack of 5,475,000. Both players made it into the tournament thanks to a $560 qualifier and ended up battling it out for the top prize. That went to Spencer Champlin, who was able to defeat Jessica to add $160,475 to his bankroll. Jessica earned $98,250 for second place.

Where one tournament ends, another begins, and in this case the latter was a $10,100 buy-in NLH tournament that produced 100 entries and a $1,000,000 prizepool. There is $255,000 and 255 points awaiting the winner.
