The end of last week at the WSOP mainly belonged to the most expensive tournament of the entire schedule, which was the quarter million dollar Super High Roller. In it, the best players in the world managed to produce a prize pool of over 17 million, a significant amount of which will also go to the Czech Republic. The credit goes to none other than Martin Kabrhel, who took home $2,279,038 for third place.

However, Martin did not even have time to enjoy the record win, and he already had to deal with completely different matters. Even though Kabhrel's playing style is well known to local CZ/SK players, some professionals, led by Dan Smith, did not like his behavior, and it all started right at the table when Dan Smith was eliminated in 6th place.

"Martin's ethics at the table are the worst I've ever seen. There's been a strong debate about whether he's marking his cards. Whether it's true or not, he's incredibly unpleasant to play with. He's brash, always takes a long time to fold and I think it's unbelievable that he's allowed to play these tournaments," said Smith in an interview after the elimination.

Andrew Robl declared on Twitter that he saw Kabhrel mark his cards in every tournament he played with him. A massive debate ensued in the thread below the tweet, with many agreeing with Robl, but also those who found the accusation to be strong.

As "proof" of possible cheating and card marking, many users have attached various videos, but we'll leave it up to each of you to decide:

It didn't take long and the response came from Kabrhel himself, who decided to defend himself legally: "You can accuse me of controversial behavior, bad jokes, uncomfortable play or autistic behavior, but calling me a fraud is completely beyond the line. These fabrications are damaging to me as a player, my business and my family, so I have decided to take legal action against Andrew Robl."

The response from Robl has not yet come, and the poker community is also asking for a statement and investigation of the whole situation directly from the competent people from the WSOP. There has been no official statement from the organizers at the time of writing this report, we will of course let you know if it does!
