The term Super High Roller Bowl probably needs no further introduction to the poker fan. The luxurious tournament with a massive $300,000 buy-in is one of the highlights of the annual poker calendar, but every year it also brings a perfect show for poker spectators. This year's SHRB attracted only 24 players to the game, who took care of the 7.2 million prize pool. During yesterday's final day, it was to be divided among the top four, which meant that one of the five finalists had to go home empty-handed. The pair of Nick Petrangelo and Daniel Negreanu were at the head of the final five, leaving a big gap behind the remaining three participants - Justin Bonomo, Orpen Kisacikoglu and Andrew Lichtenberger.

Daniel Negreanu owed his massive stack to an incredible hand at the end of day one. Spectators all over the world literally got off their seats when Bryn Kenney hit a flop set with aces, but Daniel Negreanu got to the river with his threes, where the runner-runner gave him quads!

The course of the final day itself went according to the script, when the shorts gradually fell out, and the chip leaders fought their way to the final heads-up. Orpen Kisacikoglu became the bubble-man, who was followed from the table by Justin Bonomo ($720,000) and Andrew Lichtenberger ($1,152,000).

Negreanu already went into the final heads-up with a lead of almost 5:1 against Petrangelu, but even though Petrangelu managed one double-up with KJ vs A3, Negreanu was unstoppable and did not cause any surprises. He beat his opponent again to the last 10bb, but then Nick's last chips flew over the line with K5, which Negreanu called with Q7s. The 7 held the entire board immediately on the flop and decided definitively that champion Daniel Negreanu ended his dark period and took home the full $3,312,000!
