The Rozvadov poker room has decided to bring us the WSOP Circuit Events festival, with gold rings awaiting the champions, starting January 1, 2025. The festival will run until January 14, 2025, with a total of 12 gold rings to be handed out and guarantees reaching €3,000,000.
What's in store?
The biggest attraction is definitely the Main Event with a €1,000,000 guarantee at a buy-in of €1,100, which kicks off on January 10 with its first flight. Before that, however, there will be the Mini Main Event, which offers a €500,000 guarantee with a buy-in of €250, and which kicked off yesterday with Flight 1A.
For fans of the PLO format, there is also the PLO 6-Max with a €50,000 guarantee, or the PLO 1K 8-Max and 2K 8-Max with €100,000 guarantees. The WSOPC NLH Fiftystack will offer a guarantee of €150,000 with a buy-in of €660 and the same guarantee will be offered by Lucky7s with a buy-in of €777.
For fans of High Roller tournaments, the NLH 3K High Roller is on offer with a guarantee of €150,000. There is also the Mystery Bounty tournament with a guarantee of €300,000 and the Bounty Hunter with a guarantee of €100,000.
We know the first champion
The first tournament to award the gold ring was the one-day WSOPC PLO Bounty Hunter with a buy-in of €550,000 and a €50,000 guarantee. Thanks to 116 entries, the prizepool reached €54,230, leaving the winner with a cash prize of €9,485.
This prize, along with the ring, went to a German player nicknamed "Mr. Backhand". He defeated Italian player Andrea Tropea in the final heads-up, who took home €6,519 for second place. How much the players took home from the bounty prizes was not disclosed by the casino.
