Traditionally, the strongest flights of major tournaments tend to be the last, which is why all eyes will be on the ESPT Main Event today. During six flights, it already produced 4,331 entries, and today it has scheduled the last two flights, which will definitively close the total numbers of this year. 1,982 more entries are needed to break the record, which is not unrealistic at all.
Yesterday showed in full what players from all over the world are capable of, when the earlier flight produced a total of 1,467 entries. The evening flight 1f was also strong, and another 936 entries took care of breaking the 4,000 mark in the total. The 649 successful advancers are certainly happy about it!
We can find many prominent names of world poker among those advancing, for all of them we can mention PS ambassadors Ramon Colillas and Ben Spraggy.
Among other things, the first of a series of high rollers took place yesterday, which was the €25,000 NLH event. A modest field consisting of 28 entries meant a prizepool worth €672,280, of which the largest part went to Brazil. This success is the responsibility of Felipe Ketzer, who took home €255,480 in addition to his first spade trophy.
€25k NL Hold´em:
- Felipe Ketzer (BRA) – 255,480€
- Eduard Barsegyan (RUS) – 164,700€
- Lei Yu (CHI) – 109,200€
- Kayhan Mokri (NOR) – 79,000€
- Ottomar Ladva (EST) – 63,900€
