Today's article takes us to the small town of Bulwell in the Nottingham district of England, where a hilarious situation has happened that has flooded the local media, and we couldn't deprive you of it.

The Bulwell Casino was the scene of a burglary on May 10 at 11:45 p.m., which was the work of 23-year-old Anthony Brooklyn. He was caught on CCTV cameras rummaging around the casino, kicking doors, tracking money changers and opening various lockers and drawers.

However, when officers arrived at the scene, they found Anthony curled up in a cupboard behind a slot machine. As you can correctly surmise, the burglar was heavily intoxicated and initially gave the cops a false name. He eventually ended up arrested and in a police cell.

On May 13, so just three days after the crime, Anthony Brooklyn was found guilty and already sentenced to 4 months in jail after pleading guilty to the crime himself. Simon Jones of Nottingham Police praised the officers who arrested him and added to the case, "A burglar who was found intoxicated and curled up in a cupboard after breaking into a casino has been jailed. We do not underestimate the impact burglaries of this nature have on businesses so I am pleased that Anthony has been put behind bars just three days after committing the offence."
