Top 6 players lead Stephen Song to EPT Main Event final table, winner receives €1.5 million

EPT Barcelona is nearing the final. The €5,300 buy-in Main Event brought 1,975 entries and a prizepool worth €9,578,750. The winner will be looking at €1,512,000 and each player is already assured of at least €306,900 on the final day.

Sixteen players advanced to yesterday's Day 6 and at the end of the day we got to know the final six who will face each other today in the battle for the title. Just before the final table, Harry Lodge busted out of the game, taking home €107,450 for his 10th place finish.

Rania Nasreddine went shortstack early in the final table and came close to being eliminated. However, she eventually made it into the final line-up and will be fighting for the top prize today. Rania made her second EPT final table in just a few months. In April, she finished third in the EPT Monte-Carlo Main Event, taking home €442,900.

The chipleader today will be Stephen Song with a stack of 15,150,000. However, David Coleman (10,425,000) and Andrew Hulme (5,525,000) are also in the final line-up.

The final day of the EPT Barcelona Main Event kicks off at 12:30pm on blinds of 125k/250k/250k and will continue today with 90 minute levels. You can also look forward to a livestream starting at 13:00.

Final of the €10,300 High Roller

Today, in addition to the Main Event, we will also see the final of the €10,300 High Roller with 431 entries and a prizepool of €4,180,700. The winner will win €818,100 and the top 28 players will battle it out for that amount today.

They are led by French player Thomas Eychenne with a stack of 1,755,000.
