More than enough has already been written and said about the Cyprus stop of the prestigious Triton SHRS and the name of Jason Koon dominated the world media headlines. The record holder and ambassador of this series increased his number of titles to seven thanks to two triumphs, thus only consolidating his leadership - no one else has won more than 4 titles so far!

Another professional, namely Danny Tang, has an equally successful festival behind him. It took him 53 events to claim his first Triton title, but just two months later and ten tournaments later, he added a second. It was in the $50k NLH Turbo event, where Danny defeated Santhosh Suvarna heads-up among 32 entries and was able to dedicate his $545,000 winnings to his mother, who had her birthday that day.

Just four days later, Danny fought his way into another heads-up, this time in the $50k Short Deck Main Event, where he faced 4-time champion Badziakouski. Last year, these two players had a heads-up, from which Mikita emerged victorious, but this time the tables turned. "Revenge is sweet, it was a really tough final table and I'm glad it turned out this way," said a satisfied Tang, who took home $750,000 in addition to his third trophy.

At the very end of the entire stop, the last event on the list was the $20k Short Deck turbo event, which awarded the first title to Canadian professional Daniel Dvoress. He was the unfortunate record holder of this series until now - with 16 appearances at the final tables and seven million won, he was still waiting for his first triumph. He finally managed to get it, after defeating Tom Dwan heads-up to take home the trophy and $214,000.
