Mike Watson turned heads-up
The third tournament was the 30k NLH 8-Handed with a buy-in of $31,800, a field of 154 entries and a prizepool of $4,620,000. The winner here could look forward to a prize of $1,023,000.
Names like Mike Watson, Leon Sturm, Daniel Rezaei, and Stephen Chidwick sat at the final table here. Stephen Chidwick was the first to fall out of this lineup, taking home $103,400 for his 9th place finish. He was followed by Daniel Rezaei in 8th place, and Leon Sturm finished in 7th place.
Kiat Lee and Mike Watson went into the final heads-up match. Kiat started with a sizeable lead here, but even that didn't stop Watson from going for the title. Slowly, Watson was picking off his opponent for chips.
