The Dutch Poker Masters completed its journey through the Rozvadov poker room yesterday, bringing a €500,000 guarantee with a buy-in of €225. In total, the tournament brought in 2,574 entries and a ticket to the WSOPE Main Event worth €10,350 awaited the top 5 players.
A €70,000 prize awaited the champion here and 33 players battled it out on the final day. They were led by Ukrainian player Dmytro Dorosh, who also made it to the 9-seat final table. Here, however, he already had the second smallest stack and the chipleader was his compatriot Berserk. Dmytro eventually finished in 9th place with a prize of €5,123.
There was also one local player at the final table, Martin Janoušek, who had to settle for fifth place, which was worth €15,200. He also bagged a ticket to the WSOPE European Championship.
Berserk (93 bb) and German player Dirk Reinbach were the chipleaders in the final heads-up with a stack worth 120 bb. The players made a deal here, and afterwards we witnessed a nearly two-hour duel, after which the Ukrainian player Berserk was the winner. He took home €60,460 after the deal, while Dirk Reinbach took home €49,540 for his second place finish. Both of them also received the aforementioned tickets.
