Poker Hall of Fame - under this name is a community of the most important poker names, which annually add the greatest legends to their ranks. Each year during the WSOP, an inductee or two will be inducted, with the late Layne Flack receiving the honor this year. But did you know that there is also a female version of the hall of fame that has been operating since 2008? There are currently 21 inspiring women in it, among whom we can find such inspiring names as Kathy Liebert, Jennifer Harman, JJ Liu, Victoria Cohen and Maria Ho.
After a four-year hiatus, another ceremony for the introduction of new additions will finally take place this year already on December 16, when it will be broadcasted live from the PokerGo studio. Due to the corona virus pandemic, no new induction of members has taken place since 2018, and also because of this fact, the organizers decided to add four female members to the hall of fame this year. Who will we find among them?
The Women in Poker Hall of Fame is proud to announce Angelica Hael, Terry King, Vanessa Selbst, and Jennifer Tilly are this year’s "Class of 2022" Inductees. To Read the Full Story, please visit: https://t.co/xJcclBp0U0@AngelicaHael @VanessaSelbst @JenniferTilly pic.twitter.com/Q5cUlBk5ak

Terry King
The active poker historian, who is mainly devoted to the development of poker thanks to her background work, does not get lost behind the poker tables, where she has been active for more than three decades. It was Terry who became the first lady ever to play the WSOP Main Event, and she also has one bracelet to her credit, which she won in the Ladies 7-Card Stud event back in 1978.
Angelica Hael
A lesser-known name belongs to a figure who, outside of the poker tables, is rather active in the executive branch and in the boom of poker around the world. Angelica is the Vice President of Global Tour Management at the World Poker Tour and has been actively involved in the expansion of the WPT outside of the American continent for almost 15 years. For her merits, she received the GPI Industry Person of the Year award in 2018, but this year she received an equally important honor.
Jennifer Tilly
The movie star is a well-known poker face who has been around the poker tables for 25 years. During her career, she won more than one million dollars and can boast both a WSOP bracelet and a WPT title. Tilly was a regular participant in poker shows such as Poker After Dark, and many of you may also know her as a girlfriend of Phil Laak.
Vanessa Selbst
Well, the last one probably needs no introduction to any poker fan. Even though she officially retired from poker in 2018 and is only minimally involved in playing, she is still number one on the women's all-time money list with almost $12 million (Kathy Lieber is currently in second place with $6.6 million in winnings). He has a total of 15 tournament wins, including three WSOP bracelets, back-to-back wins in ME NAPT and three spade trophies from PCA / EPT.
