As you know, the successful Winamax Poker Open has totally dominated Slovak capital city this week, attracting hundreds of players from all over Europe. They eagerly took to the Main Event, which, thanks to 1,577 entries, produced a prizepool of almost 700,000€, which began to be shared among the 271 entrants on Day 2 yesterday.
The tournament, played in a dynamic 6-max format, kicked off at noon, where all players were assured of a €1,000 mincash as they started their journey to the final day. A 13-player field, led by living Belgian legend Pierre Neuville, finally made it through to today's final day.
The final table will also feature other names from the professional poker world, such as Spanish Leo Margets and long-time Belgian number one Davidi Kitai. Each of today's finalists is assured of a €5,560 prize, but the winner will receive a whopping €100,000 along with a valuable title!
