Today we meet four millionaires

The historic fifth edition of the Big One for One Drop attracted 17 brave souls willing to invest a million-dollar buy-in during the WPT World Championship Festival. The first day of play brought a slow start that sent just two players out of the game, which meant that 15 players played for a spot in the 6-seed final yesterday.

Right from the start of the day, Chris Brewer had to say goodbye to the tournament after a missed flip with A J against a pair of 7 7 , followed by Martin Kabrhel just a few minutes later. The latter got into a spot from which there was no escape when he ran into a pair of Q Q with his 15bb into a pair of K K under the hand of Jason Koon. The board didn't bring any miraculous help and the hope of a Czech 7-figure win was quickly extinguished.

The second day's play eventually saw 6 players successfully battle their way through, still led by Day 1 chipleader Dan Smith. The final showdown is scheduled for today from 23:00 our time, when we will be able to watch the astronomical 7-figure bubble in the live stream. The chipcount for the final day looks as follows:
