Yesterday, several WPT Prime Slovakia tournaments were once again played at Card Casino Bratislava. One of them was the final day of the €100,000 PLO 3K High Roller.
The buy-in was €2,800+€200 and the entry count stood at 35. Cash prizes awaited 5 players, with the mincash worth €8,600 and €36,000 awaiting the winner.
Samuel Stranak shines again
The top 5 players also included one Slovak, Samuel Straňák, the owner of the first Slovak WSOP bracelet. Samuel took on Hungarian Bernard Larabi in the final heads-up match. However, the Hungarian was no match for the Slovak player and had to settle for €24,000. Samuel Stranak became the new WPT Prime champion and took home €36,000 along with the trophy.

Trophy from WPT Opener goes to Greece
The WPT Prime Opener final was also played yesterday with a buy-in of €180+€20 and a guarantee of €250,000. Here the entries counter got to 1,300 and so the guarantee could not be met. The top 15 players made it through to yesterday's final. The top 5 players, however, also bagged a ticket to the WPT Prime Slovakia Main Event in addition to their prize money.
Christos Vettas from Greece and Josef Dobosz from Hungary faced each other in the final heads-up match. The players made a deal here and were now playing for the trophy. Vettas took home the trophy along with a €25,320 prize. Dobosz did not win the trophy, but took home the highest prize of all, €29,000. Congratulations!

A decisive day for the Main Event
But the eyes of viewers from all over the world are focused on the Main Event of the entire event, which is €1,100 Prime. It started already on Thursday, since then 4 flights have already taken place. Together, they produced a total of 342 entries, and 45 of them advanced, who are sure to appear in Sunday's day 2. At stake is a minimum €500,000 guarantee and, of course, a prestigious poker title.
