WSOP Paradise in the sunny Bahamas is slowly coming to a close, but before that we still need to meet a few new champions and one of them will be the winner of the $25,000 buy-in, $50,000,000 Super Main Event.
The WSOP Super Main Event brought in 1,978 entries and so the guarantee could not be met. A valuable gold bracelet and a $6,000,000 prize await the winner here. 36 players entered the fray for this prize yesterday and from them we got to know the final table line-up.
That's what happened and we've got to know the 9 finalists. They are still headed by Michael Addamo, who has a stack up to 196,800,000. However, the final table will also feature other big names like Liv Boeree, Justin Bonomo and Mustapha Kanit.

All finalists already have at least $750,000 in their pockets. Play will begin at 12:00 local time, when the 1.5M/3M/3M blinds will be played. This level will take 34 minutes to complete and then all subsequent levels will take 60 minutes to complete. Of course, there is also a live stream, which can be found on our website around 19:00.
Who took home how much?
The saddest player of the Super Main Event last night was definitely Chris Moneymaker, who just missed out on making the final table. In fact, he finished in 10th place, which earned him $500,000.
Ren Lin took 11th place with a $370,150 prize, and German player Sirzat Hissou took home the same amount. Austrian player Roland Rokita took home $230,600 for 22nd place, and Matthias Eibinger, Rainer Kempe and Christoph Vogelsang took home $180,300.
Tom Fuchs NLH High Roller Champion
The $50,000 buy-in NLH High Roller had its final day yesterday, bringing 130 entries and a prizepool of $6,500,000. The $1,292,000 prize awaited the winner here, which was fought over at the final table by a group of four DACH (a common designation for Germany, Austria and Switzerland) players.
There were names like Fedor Holz, Leonard Maue, Thomas Muehloecker, Santhosh Suvarna and Punnat Punsri. However, none of these players were able to become champions. The first WSOP gold bracelet went to Austrian player Tom Fuchs, who surpassed the $3 million mark in live tournament winnings with this win.

Will Hellmuth win his 18th bracelet?
Also on the schedule yesterday was the second day of play in the GGMillion$ NLH Championship with a buy-in of $10,000, a field of 532 entries and a prize pool of $5,320,000. The winner will be rewarded with $807,430.
There are 46 players still in the hunt for this amount and they are led by American player Taylor von Kriegenbergh with a stack of 4,300,000. In second place is German player Fabian Niederreiter with a stack of 3,345,000. In third place is Jesse Lonis with a stack of 2,520,000. Among the well-known names, Marius Gierse, Stoyan Madanzhiev, Hossein Ensan, Joao Simao and even Phil Hellmuth are among the advancers.
Super Saver $1M Invitational
Not to be short on tournaments for one day, there's one more, and that's the Super Saver $1M Invitational, which was only open to Super Main Event entrants with a WSOP bracelet, $100K Package Early Bird holders, or online package winners.
There is $200,000 waiting for the winner and 487 players came to play for that amount. Of those, only 24 made it to the next day and all of them are already ITM. They have at least $6,400 in their pockets. The chipleader here is Brazilian Felipe Ketzer with a stack of 1,140,000. Christoph Vogelsang, Chris Hunichen, Alisson Piekazewicz and Timothy Adams are also continuing to play.
WSOP 2025
Finally, we have one more piece of news for every poker fan. Yesterday, the WSOP announced the date for the 56th WSOP Festival in Las Vegas in 2025. Everyone mark your calendars for a date between May 27 and July 16. For the fourth year in a row, the entire series will be held at the Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas.
The $10,000 WSOP Main Event itself will kick off on July 2 and we'll know the winner on July 16. The tournament schedule will be announced at the beginning of the year, all that has been announced so far is that we can look forward to Mystery Millions, Millionaire Maker and the Senior's Championship, to name a few.
