WSOPC MAIN EVENT - FINAL DAY [RING #10]
The €1,000 + €100 buy-in, €1,000,000 guarantee tournament produced a total of 1,187 entries, bringing the prizepool to €1,187,650. After three days of play, the field has been whittled down to the final eight, who played yesterday for the €200,000 prize awarded to the champion. At the final table, all players were now guaranteed a ticket to the WSOPE ME in addition to the prize money.
The first to leave the table was the German representative "All-in", who was unlucky in the duel with A-Q against his opponent's K-8. His 8th place prize was €18,500.
The imaginary podium in third place was occupied by the German representative Nadel Saleman, who with a combination of hit on the flop medium pair. But his Israeli opponent Dadi17 was hiding a pair under his hand , with which he reached the showdown and moved the tournament into heads-up play. The German representative had to settle for €84,000.
And so we come to heads-up play, with Caner Toker jumping in with 73bb and his opponent Dadi17 with 52bb. Despite the decently deep stacks, there was no long show though - after just 15 minutes of play, a huge hand came that decided everything. The duel of hands against brought a double-up to the Israeli player, while the Swiss representative fell short. He couldn't recover from that, but the most valuable ring, along with the €200,000 prize, goes to DADI17.
