Maria Konnikova wins her first WSOP bracelet

Maria Konnikova won her first WSOPC ring in January and did it in her first WSOPC tournament. Back then, she beat a field of 504 players and took home a cash prize of $57,531.

She accomplished this feat in the online edition of the series and has now secured her first WSOP gold bracelet in the online edition of the WSOP series. It all took place in event number 12, which was the NLH Fall Crazy 8s with a buy-in of $888.

In total, the tournament brought in 468 entries and they were all players from New Jersey, Nevada or Michigan, as only players from those states can play online for a WSOP bracelet.

The prizepool was worth $374,400 and there was $68,478 waiting for the winner. Maria Konnikova, who played under the nickname "vesper1ynd", was the tournament winner. Maria also secured her first WSOP gold bracelet after her first gold ring.
