The PGT Mixed Games series brings ten events with buy-ins ranging from $5,100 to $25,200 to the PokerGo Studio in Las Vegas these days, where players will compete in 8-game, H.O.R.S.E, Triple Stud, PLO and No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw poker disciplines. The last edition of this series was back in October last year, when Chino Rheem was the overall winner.
This year's edition, too, is no poorer for the quality of the field, as the star-studded namesake proved from the very first event. Daniel Negreanu, Benny Glaser, Adam Friedman, Jeremy Ausmus, Mike Gorodinsky and Dzmitry Urbanovich - this is just a short selection of the participants of the events so far. And since the first half of the events is already over, a short recap is in order.
Winners so far
The opening event of the year was the $5,100 H.O.R.S.E. event, in which the Russian Maksim Pisarenko did the best. He was able to take down the king of mixed games Benny Glaser in heads-up play to take home a prize of $117,450.
In Event #2 - $5,100 8-Game, John Hennigan ($120,150) was the best performer, while the trophy from Event #3 - $10,200 H.O.R.S.E. went to PokerGO founder Mori Eskandani ($201,600). The other two champions were Dan Zack ($195,200) and John Racener ($151,200).
