WPT Prime Liechtenstein has been running at Grand Casino Leichtenstein since August 28 and will run until September 9, when we will see the new WPT Prime Championship champion.
Today, however, we'll take a look at the smaller tournaments that will be played before then, one of which is the CHF 200 buy-in, CHF 100,000 guarantee Deepstack. That one brought up 771 entries and a prizepool of CHF 138,780. Of that amount, CHF 22,060 was waiting for the winner.
The tournament ended unconventionally. The winner was a German player with the nickname Master Chief, who took home the full winner's prize, and the second and third place players agreed a deal of an even split of CHF 12,900 each.
WPT Ladies Event
Also on the schedule yesterday was the Ladies Event with a buy-in of CHF 200, which brought 21 entries and a prizepool of CHF 3,780. The winner here, with a prize of CHF 1,890, was Swiss player Brigitte Hauenstein.
Action 8
Also on the schedule yesterday was the Action 8 tournament, which had a buy-in of CHF 300 and brought a prizepool of CHF 25,380 thanks to 94 entries. The winner here was a Swiss player with the nickname "PK89", who took home CHF 6,360 after the last three players dealt.
WPT PLO
Finally, we have one more tournament that took place on Saturday, the WPT PLO with a buy-in of CHF 300, 62 entries and a prizepool of CHF 16,740. Stefan Ramon Wäspi was the winner after a three-player deal.
