With the WSOP Main Event registration phase now over, we've learned the final numbers for this year's event. The WSOP 2024 Main Event has set a new record for the most players, with 10,112. The prizepool is now worth $94,041,600.
Along with the announcement of this information, WSOP founder Jack Binion also presented us with a bracelet for the champion. This one this year weighs 445 grams, is made of 10 karat gold and contains 2,253 different gemstones. Specifically, there are 1,948 round genuine diamonds, 230 black onyx stones and 75 genuine red rubies. The front part with the WSOP logo is removable and can be used, for example, as a card protector.
How much will the winner take home?
The ITM is open to 1,517 players and the mincash is worth $15,000. All participants in the 9-seat final table will pocket at least one million dollars and the winner will take home a whopping $10 million. The runner-up will have a sum of $6,000,000 waiting for him.

Last year's winner Daniel Weinman took home a record $12,100,000 and runner-up Steven Jones won $6,500,000. There are still more than 3,000 players left in the field and the bubble is not expected to burst until the fourth day of play.
Who made it to Day 3?
3,617 players have made it through to Day 3. More specifically, there are 1,549 players from Day 2ABC and 2,068 players from Day 2D. There is no shortage of familiar names and former Main Event champions among the qualifiers. Niko Koop, John Hennigan, Leonard Maue, Parker Talbot, Nacho Barbero, Hossein Ensan, Bin Weng, Adrian Mateos, Erik Seidel, Koray Aldemir, Scott Blumstein, Mike Matusow, Matthias Eibinger, Mikita Badziakouski, Daniel Negreanu, Santhosh Suvarna, Eli Elezra, Greg Merson, Maria Ho, Espen Jorstad, Daniel Weinman, Phil Ivey and Todd Brunson will all be showing off their skills on Day 3.
Day 3 of the WSOP Main Event will start tonight at blinds of 1,000/2,500/2,500, running again in 120-minute levels and playing 5 levels again, after which players will move on to Day 4.
