Every year, the WSOP brings us a number of interesting life stories, and the online edition of the WSOP, which is currently underway in the US and is only open to players from Michigan, New Jersey and Nevada, is no different.
The WSOP Online has been running since the end of September and in that time we've already seen a player have his account blocked after winning a bracelet, Alex Foxen win his second bracelet, and just days after that his wife Kristen Foxen won her fifth bracelet.
Now we have another interesting one, which was taken care of by Roland Israelashvili. This gentleman has been playing every possible WSOP and WSOPC stop since 2005, playing both live and online versions. As a result, he holds the record for most WSOP cashes.
The record has a bitter taste, however, as it is a record not only for the number of cashouts, but also for the number of cashouts without a bracelet. Even though Roland has won 11 WSOPC rings, the bracelet has still eluded him. Roland has 514 cashouts from the WSOP alone, and his hendonmob shows a total of 722 cashouts and over $4.5 million worth of tournament winnings.
Reason to celebrate
Roland now has reason to celebrate in a big way, however, as his latest WSOP Online cashout, number 514, has already earned him the coveted gold championship bracelet in addition to the money.
Roland Israelashvili, under the nickname "prngls12", played the tournament with serial number 20, which was the $400 PLOSSUS PKO 6-Max with 444 entries. Along with the valuable bracelet, he took home $23,519.85 ($12,611.60 + bounty worth $10,908.25).
Who follows Roland?
Arkadiy Tsinis is second in the number of WSOP ITM cashes, with a whopping 461 cashes, one gold bracelet and 7 rings. Rounding out third place is "Lord of the Rings" Ari Engel, who has a record 18 rings, 356 cashouts and 3 bracelets. It was Ari who revealed to the whole world via social media that Roland had finally won his first bracelet.
Take Roland off that list! Congrats to one of everyone's favorite grinders Roland Israelashvili on his first bracelet!
